1957 -- Warsaw, Indiana fell to 14°.

1980 -- At 2:35pm a tornado demolished mobile homes and damaged houses northwest of Ossian after hitting Warren, Indiana. Debris from Ossian dropped on Baer Field. Fifteen minutes later another twister moved from west to northeast Jay County.

1998 -- Fort Wayne's wettest April day, with 2.57" of rain.

1999 -- Trees and power lines were blown down by thunderstorms in Wawpecong (Miami County). A mobile home was destroyed by high winds in Boundary City (Jay County).

2001 -- Hail 4.5" in diameter pounded the earth two miles north of Hartford City. Homes suffered siding and window damage from hail and high winds in Miami County. Severe storm winds blew several roofs off in Arcana (Grant County).
