1967 -- Four tornadoes swept across Grant, Blackford, Wells, and Adams counties. The twisters in Grant and Blackford counties reached F3 strength.

1983 -- A five-day-long siege of winter weather began. Up to 10" of snow fell on the area by the 22nd. On the 23rd blizzard conditions developed with zero visibility that continued into the 25th. Benton County, Indiana reported wind gusts to 56 mph and Interstate 65 was closed.
