1988 -- Eight inches of snow fell on northern Indiana from Lake Michigan to Fort Wayne.

1999 -- Non-thunderstorm winds in excess of 55 mph blew a semi trailer over on U.S. 30 in southern LaPorte County, and several trees were blown down in Michigan City.
