On Feb 7 in weather history...

1992 -- Up to 14 inches of lake effect snow buried LaPorte, Saint Joseph Indiana, Starke, and Marshall counties.

2003 -- A band of heavy lake effect snow passed through Berrien County, causing a massive pile-up on Interstate 94 northeast of Benton Harbor. Sixty vehicles were involved with one fatality and over two dozen injuries. Snow accumulated a foot deep.
