1982 -- South Bend and Fort Wayne fell to -15°. Fort Wayne had a high temperature of -7°. Winds gusting to 40 mph took wind chills down to -76°.

1987 -- Six to eight inches of snow fell on northern Indiana and southern Michigan fromm the 9th into the 10th. Ten inches of snow fell on the south side of Chicago.

1993 -- Seven and a half inches of snow fell at Fort Wayne, and sleet and freezing rain fell on central Indiana.
