On Jan 14 in weather history...

1979 -- Up to 20 inches of snow fell on northwest Indiana. South Bend reported 17.2", with 35mph winds blowing it into eight foot drifts. Twenty-one inches of snow buried Chicago in thirty hours. Fort Wayne received only one-third of an inch of snow.

1992 -- Four to six inches of snow fell from Indianapolis to Fort Wayne. Forty mile per hour winds drifted the snow to three feet deep in Howard and Cass counties.
