1907 -- Wabash River at Terre Haute crested 10.7 feet above flood stage.

1909 -- Warsaw, Indiana hit 65°.

1967 -- South Bend's warmest January low temperature, 52°.

1971 -- The temperature at Prospect Creek, Alaska, fell to -80° to establish the coldest temperature ever recorded in the United States.

1987 -- Lake effect snow from yesterday and today piled up to eleven inches deep in South Bend, along with temperatures falling to -3° and winds gusting to 35mph.

1992 -- LaPorte and Saint Joseph Indiana counties got six inches of snow.

1999 -- A man was missing and presumed dead as a result of flooding in Adams County. Flooding occurred on the first floor of six homes on Catherine Drive in Liberty Center (Henry County).

2003 -- Nine inches of lake effect snow at Rolling Prairie (LaPorte County), 7" at Bridgman (Berrien County).
