1873 -- A farmer near Huntertown, Indiana record a low temperature of -34°.

1978 -- The Great Blizzard of '78 ended. At South Bend 35 inches of snow had fallen since it began on the 25th. Today and tomorrow South Bend had its deepest snow cover on record: 41 inches.

1990 -- Up to half a foot of snow fell on central and southern Indiana.

2000 -- Another 1-5 inches of snow fell in Northern Indiana... making the new snow depth in Cass County IN 15 inches.
