1900 -- A tornado moved south-southeast across Little Mud Lake and Birch Lake in Cass County, Michigan.

1932 -- A tornado hit the southeast side of Peru, Indiana at 9:30am.

1994 -- A man was injured by a lightning strike while talking on the phone near Grand Rapids, Michigan.

1996 -- Downburst winds caused extensive damage in South Whitley, Indiana.

2001 -- Flash flooding in Rochester and Akron (Fulton County Indiana)...Mill Creek out of its banks in Rochester after 5" of rain in 3 hours. Flooding stalled vehicles in Michigan City. Water over the roads was reported throughout Wabash County. Hail 1" in diameter fell on Akron. A large tree was uprooted by thunderstorm winds on the east side of the Grant County fairgrounds, blocking the entrance and hitting power lines that cut off power to the fair. A person was struck by lightning in Rochester. A two story wood frame house was destroyed by fire after being struck by lightning in LaFontaine (Wabash County).

2003 -- 70 mph thunderstorm winds at Wolcott (White County), 69mph winds flipped a tractor trailer on US 31 at Plymouth. A home suffered roof damage two miles southwest of South Bend.

2012 -- Blistering heat continues over drought parched northern Indiana. 4th day of consecutive max temperatures above 100° at Fort Wayne which breaks the old record of 3 days set in 1988, 1936 and 1934.
