1986 -- A tornado damaged two dozen houses in Cassopolis, Michigan.

1998 -- The Berne Library lost part of its roof in a strong thunderstorm with 60 mph winds. $100,000 in damage was done in Paulding County, especially along CR 107 where eighteen power poles were knocked down.

2001 -- Hail 1.75" in diameter fell two miles north of Disko (Wabash County), around Rome City (Noble County), in Ontario (Lagrange County), and in Wauseon. A 12-year-old girl was struck by lightning five miles south of Columbia City but was treated and released from the hospital. Lightning started two house fires in Kendallville.

2002 -- Lightning entered a kitchen via the home's wiring, and then spread through the rest of the building, in Stryker (Williams County).

2009 -- An isolated supercell dropped grapefruit sized hail near Rochester Indiana.
