2003 -- 58 mph thunderstorm winds blew down trees and power lines in Millgrove (Blackford County).
2012 -- Derecheo wallops portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio with widespread damage to trees, structures and the local power grid. 30 miles of high tension metal truss towers are toppled in Paulding county alone. All-time highest wind gust of 91 mph is recorded at the Fort Wayne Airport. This Derecheo went on to devastate portions of Ohio, Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey.
