1943 -- Albion plummeted to -10° and Goshen fell all the way down to -19°. Plymouth dropped to -8°. It was South Bend's coldest March temperature on record when they reached -13°.

1984 -- Northeast Indiana received their third large snowstorm in five weeks. Six to 7 inches of snow fell in the Marion, Huntington, and Fort Wayne areas.

1999 -- A 2 day snow storm swept through Southern Michigan, Northern Indiana, and Western Ohio dropping measured snowfall between 3"-10". Wasbash IN had the measurment of 10".

2009 -- An EF1 tornado hit the Countryside Mobile Home Park in Columbia City.
