1883 -- An F4 multiple-vortex tornado tore from near Vistula, Indiana to near Bronson, Michigan. One man was killed near Van Buren in Lagrange County.

1886 -- Forty-three people were killed as a tornado ripped through Anderson, Indiana. An F4 twister touched down two miles north of Redkey, Indiana and lifted five miles north of Celina, Ohio. Six people were killed, five of them in leveled homes northwest of Celina.

1995 -- An F2 tornado moved through northeast Indianapolis downing trees and power lines along 86th and 82nd streets.
