1908 -- Thunderstorms did heavy damage at Fort Wayne.

1973 -- A tornado destroyed farm buildings near Venedocia, Ohio.

1987 -- A man in his boat on a Louisiana lake stood up during a thunderstorm and asked to be struck by lightning. He was, and was killed.

1989 -- Severe thunderstorms produced 90 mph winds at Rockville, Indiana. The National Weather Service office at South Bend recorded an 86 mph wind.

1997 -- Heavy rains flooded roads in Paulding and Putnam counties. Riley Creek in Bluffton rose out of its banks causing the evacuation of six residents.

2001 -- An F0 tornado touched down for a moment one mile north of Sturgis (Saint Joseph County Michigan) in a field.

2002 -- One inch diameter hail in Galveston (Cass County Indiana) and five miles north of Okolona (Henry County). 60mph thunderstorm winds at Grissom ARB (Miami County). Two barns and a silo destroyed by thunderstorm winds three miles west of Somerset in Wabash County. Hail 1.75" in diameter at Napoleon, 1.25" in diameter at Florida (Henry County).
