1908 -- Three days after a damaging thunderstorm, another storm did more damage in Fort Wayne.

2012 -- One of the hottest Memorial Day weekends in living memory. Record highs of 95° are set at South Bend and Fort Wayne breaking the old records of 94° set in 1911. South Bend's all-time record high minimum temperature of 73° is tied. The old record was previously set on May 5th 1918.
