2001 -- Thunderstorm winds blew power lines down in Coloma and Sodus (both Berrien County), and felled trees in Buchanan (Berrien County).

2003 -- Hail 1.75" in diameter fell five miles northwest of Elkhart and one mile south of Berrien Springs (Berrien County). $8000 damage was done at Klug's Nursery in Berrien Springs. Hail 1.75" in diameter accumulated a foot deep in 15 minutes four and a half miles west of Cassopolis.
