1959 -- A tornado moved southeast, hitting just east of Royal Center, Indiana.

1999 -- 70 mph winds at Columbia City caused extensive tree damage, and power outages. A downburst struck Nyona Lake (Fulton County, Indiana), causing extensive damage to three homes and two vehicles from falling trees....and three boats on the lake were flipped over. Hail 1" in diameter fell two miles south of Brookston (White County).
