NWS Jackson's Weather Radio Schedule

The National Weather Service at Jackson, KY broadcasts a NOAA Weather Radio program that serves Eastern Kentucky, South Central Kentucky, Southwest Virginia, and Western West Virginia, utilizing 19 transmitters. This 24 hour weather radio program provides continuous weather information for the listening area. Under severe weather situations, warnings, watches, and advisories and statments are broadcast to address the severe threat. Monthly Climate Report Once an hour for the first two days of the month
Public Information Statements for upcoming monthly records and normals Once an hour on the last day of the month and the first day of the new month
Hydrologic Outlook Once an hour in late February, again in the middle of March and as needed for extremely dry or wet conditions
