Peak Wind Reports for Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

Gusty south winds occurred Sunday due to a low pressure system that moved into the northern Plains. The strongest winds in the local area occurred around Valentine in north central Nebraska because it was closest to the low pressure system. The peak wind gust at Valentine was 45 mph at 1:45 p.m. CDT.
