An upper disturbance will push southward out of Canada Thursday with light snow and snow showers spreading west to east through the day. Snow will begin across the eastern Panhandle as early as the early morning hours with activity pushing into central and southern Nebraska by the late morning. Snow amounts will vary from a trace to 2" with the heaviest swath of snow developing across a corridor bounded by I-80 and Highway 2. North northeast winds will increase to 6 to 12 MPH. Winds will be a bit stronger across northern Nebraska with gusts near 20 MPH. High temperatures will struggle to reach the low to mid 20s with temperatures dropping rapidly Thursday evening as cold Canadian air sinks southward.
