...INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS...INCLUDING A FEW TORNADOES...ROLL ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL NEBRASKA...
POWERFUL THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED THURSDAY EVENING OVER NORTHEAST CHERRY COUNTY AND EASTWARD THROUGH HOLT COUNTY.
THESE STORMS SLOWLY MIGRATED SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE EVENING. THE STRONGEST AND MOST SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED
OVER EASTERN CHERRY... BROWN...KEYA PAHA...BLAINE...AND ROCK COUNTIES. SEVERAL TORNADOES WERE REPORTED FROM TRAINED
WEATHER SPOTTERS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AROUND THE WOOD LAKE AND JOHNSTOWN AREAS. A NUMBER OF FUNNEL CLOUDS WERE ALSO
REPORTED DURING THE EVENING. IN ADDITION...HAIL THE SIZE OF TENNIS BALLS AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES PER HOUR
WERE REPORTED.
