AT NORTH PLATTE AND VALENTINE IN JULY...

FOR NORTH PLATTE...THE AVERAGE DAILY MEAN TEMPERATURE FOR JUNE WAS
78.2 DEGREES...WHICH WAS 3.9 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 74.3
DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 90.4 DEGREES WHICH
WAS 2.0 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 88.4 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY
LOW TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 66.0 DEGREES WHICH WAS 5.8 DEGREES
ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 60.2 DEGREES. NO DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE
SET FOR THE MONTH OF JULY IN NORTH PLATTE.

FOR VALENTINE...THE AVERAGE DAILY MEAN TEMPERATURE FOR JUNE WAS 78.3
DEGREES...WHICH WAS 4.6 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 73.7 DEGREES.
THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 91.3 DEGREES...WHICH WAS 3.0
DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 88.3 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY LOW
TEMPERATURE WAS 65.2 DEGREES...WHICH WAS 6.1 DEGREES ABOVE THE
NORMAL OF 59.1 DEGREES. NO DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE SET FOR
THE MONTH OF JULY AT VALENTINE.

FOR NORTH PLATTE...PRECIPITATION FOR JUNE TOTALED 3.45
INCHES...WHICH WAS 0.28 INCHES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 3.17 INCHES. ONE
DAILY PRECIPITATION RECORD WAS SET FOR THE MONTH AT NORTH PLATTE. ON
THE SIXTH...1.95 INCHES OF RAIN FELL AT LEE BIRD FIELD. THIS BROKE
THE RECORD OF 1.45 INCHES SET PREVIOUSLY IN 1949.

AT VALENTINE...PRECIPITATION FOR JUNE TOTALED 3.08 INCHES WHICH WAS
0.29 INCHES BELOW THE NORMAL OF 3.37 INCHES. NO DAILY PRECIPITATION
RECORDS WERE SET DURING THE MONTH AT MILLER FIELD.

THE 30 DAY OUTLOOK FROM THE CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER FOR AUGUST CALLS
FOR EQUAL CHANCES OF ABOVE...BELOW OR NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND
FOR ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION.
