Warm Today Then an Arctic Blast Wednesday

A mild day is in store today as the upper level ridge begins to break down and a cold front approaches  Nebraska. This will allow highs temperatures to range in the upper 50s to near 60, which is 20 to 30 degrees above normal.  For Wednesday, a powerful Arctic cold front will surge through Nebraska. Strong north winds of 20 to 35 mph and gusty will develop behind this front with temperatures falling through the day.  Snow showers will also be possible behind the front. Colder than average temperatures may linger into Friday before temperatures moderate back to near normal.
