...ARCTIC FRONT BRINGS LIGHT SNOW AND BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES
TO WESTERN AND CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT ORIGINATING FROM NORTHERN CANADA PUSHED
THROUGH THE STATE MONDAY EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT. AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING IN ALOFT FROM THE PACIFIC HELPED SUPPORT
THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS ALONG THIS FRONT BEFORE
MOVING EAST INTO IOWA. THE COMBINATION OF COLD ARCTIC AIR AND A LIGHT
FRESH SNOW PACK ALLOWED TEMPERATURES TO DROP INTO THE SUBZERO
READINGS AS A STRONG ARCTIC HIGH BUILT OVER NEBRASKA. BREEZY NORTH
NORTHWEST WINDS BEHIND THE FRONT PUSHED WIND CHILL READINGS INTO
THE -20 TO -30 DEGREE RANGE ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHWESTERN AND
WESTERN NEBRASKA.

HERE IS A LISTING OF SNOW REPORTS AS OF 830 AM CST.
