ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND
WELL BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION ACROSS
WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA
EXCEPTIONAL DROUGHT CONDITIONS CONTINUED ACROSS ALL OF WESTERN AND  
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA DURING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER.

FOR NORTH PLATTE...THE AVERAGE DAILY MEAN TEMPERATURE FOR NOVEMBER
WAS 38.6 DEGREES AND WAS 3.0 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 35.6
DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 57.2 DEGREES...WHICH
WAS 7.0 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 50.2 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY
LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 19.9 DEGREES...WHICH WAS 1.1 DEGREES BELOW THE
NORMAL OF 21.0 DEGREES. NO DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE SET DURING
THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER IN NORTH PLATTE.

FOR VALENTINE...THE AVERAGE DAILY MEAN TEMPERATURE FOR NOVEMBER WAS
37.1 DEGREES WHICH WAS 2.7 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 34.4 DEGREES.
THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 51.7 DEGREES WHICH WAS 4.0
DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 47.7 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY LOW
TEMPERATURE WAS 22.5 DEGREES WHICH WAS 1.3 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL
OF 21.2 DEGREES. ONE RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS SET DURING THE
MONTH OF NOVEMBER IN VALENTINE. ON THE TWENTY FIRST...THE HIGH IN
VALENTINE WAS 76 DEGREES...BREAKING THE RECORD OF 75 DEGREES SET
PREVIOUSLY IN 1966.

PRECIPITATION AT LEE BIRD FIELD TOTALED 0.05 INCHES FOR THE
MONTH...AND WAS 0.59 INCHES BELOW THE NORMAL OF 0.64 INCHES. TOTAL
SNOWFALL WAS 0.5 INCHES...AND WAS 3.4 INCHES BELOW THE NORMAL OF 3.9
INCHES. NO DAILY PRECIPITATION RECORDS WERE SET DURING THE MONTH OF
NOVEMBER IN NORTH PLATTE.

VALENTINE PRECIPITATION IN NOVEMBER TOTALED 0.47 INCHES WHICH WAS
0.18 INCHES BELOW THE NORMAL OF 0.65 INCHES. SNOWFALL FOR THE MONTH
TOTALED 7.7 INCHES...AND WAS 2.3 INCHES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 5.4
INCHES. NO DAILY PRECIPITATION RECORDS WERE SET DURING THE MONTH OF
NOVEMBER FOR VALENTINE.
