Darrell Fisher Honored by 25 Year Length-of-Service Award
Cooperative Observer from Moorefield, Nebraska


 Long time voluntary Cooperative Observer, Darrell Fischer of Moorefield, Nebraska - was presented with his 25 Year Length-of-Service Award.  Darrell has been a COOP Observer in Moorefield since April 1st, 1987.

Cory Van Pelt and Cory Martin, representing the National Weather Service North Platte office, were on hand to give Darrell his 25 Year award, along with a 25 Year pin, and a National Weather Service hat - as one way to honor Darell Fischer for his many years of voluntary service.

His observations of maximum and minimum, and at observation time temperatures, plus tracking precipitation, snowfall and snow depth on a daily basis, have aided the State of Nebraska climatologist, and the National Climatic Data Center.
