Daylight Savings time arrives early Sunday morning (March 10, 2013). We Spring Forward this time of year, so the clock spins forward from 2:00am to 3:00am. If you choose, you can set your alarm to wake you by 2:00am so you can catch the official "spring forward" or before retiring for the night on Saturday, adjust your clocks ahead the hour. In the meantime...below is a link to the United States Naval Observatory for a short history of Daylight Savings Time. Also a friendly reminder, time change is a common period for batteries to be changed in home smoke detectors. |
