Below are two maps that depict approximate total precipitation through June 30th, 2010 across Western and North Central Nebraska.
The first map is a radar derived approximation of total precipitation during the month of June 2010. The second map is a departure from climatological normals, showing the monthly departure from normal precipitation in inches.
Two tables are included below the precipitation maps. The first table is from preliminary National Weather Service Cooperative Weather Observing Sites. This list will be more complete and quality controlled, after all the data is received and assessed during the beginning of July. The second table was derived from the NeRAIN (Nebraska Rainfall Assessment and Information Network) sites, across the County Warning Area the National Weather Service office in North Platte covers.
Finally for reference purposes the official National Weather Service observing sites are listed, with the monthly precipitation for June, and the departures from normal for Broken Bow, Imperial, North Platte and Valentine.
Keep in mind, that convective type precipitation oftens varies greatly over small geographic areas. For instance Lee Bird Field in North Platte has received 4.99 inches during June 2010, which is 2.15 inches above normal for the month. However areas just west of the city of North Platte received as much as 8.28 inches during June.

Imperial Airport: 7.82 inches/4.80 inches above normal amount of 3.02 inches for June
North Platte Airport: 4.99 inches/1.82 inches above normal amount of 3.17 inches for June
Valentine Airport: 3.91 inches/0.90 inch above normal amount of 3.01 inches for June
