MONTH...TRANSITIONED TO A ZONAL AND RIDGING PATTERN DURING THE LATTER
HALF OF THE MONTH OVER THE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE UNITED STATES.
THE PATTERN DURING THE FIRST HALF OF THE MONTH...WAS FAVORABLE FOR
PRECIPITATION...WHILE THE PATTERN DURING THE SECOND HALF OF THE
MONTH FAVORED DRY CONDITIONS.

FOR NORTH PLATTE...THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 52.7
DEGREES WHICH WAS 0.6 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 52.1 DEGREES. THE
AVERAGE DAILY LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 27.2 DEGREES WHICH WAS 3.4 DEGREES
ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 23.8 DEGREES. THE MEAN DAILY TEMPERATURE WAS
39.9 DEGREES WHICH WAS 1.9 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 38.0 DEGREES.
ONE DAILY RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OCCURRED FOR THE MONTH IN
NORTH PLATTE. ON THE EIGHTH...THE DAILY LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 38
