Oshkosh COOP Observer Judy Schlobohm Receives 35 Year Length-of-Service Award

Cooperative Weather Observer Judy Schlobohm was the recipient of a 35 Year Length-of-Service Award, for her stellar work with the Cooperative Observer Program.  Meteorologist-in-Charge Ryan Knutsvig presented the award to Judy on May 15th, for her hard work and dedication to the COOP program. Each morning Judy has measured precipitation, snowfall and snow depth, along with logging the maximum, minimum and at observation temperatures.

Judy Schlobohm has been serving as a COOP observer since April 1st, 1979. The station history for Oshkosh, in Garden County - dates back to June 1st, 1913.  A special thanks also goes to Scott Smith, who has helped as the back up observer for Oshkosh.
