Pat and Diane Thelander
with a
30 Year Length-of-Service Award
&
Special Recognition Award
June 26th, 2013

On June 26th - Meteorologist-in-Charge Ryan Knutsvig of the National Weather Service office in North Platte - presented a 30 Year Length-of-Service Award, to Pat and Diane Thelander, who reside 10 miles northeast of Oshkosh. 

Another presentation of a Special Recognition Award, was also done to recognize Pat & Diane for their superlative efforts in taking weather observations, but also for relaying severe and inclement weather conditions to the National Weather Service.
