DURING THE PAST 3 DAYS WIDESPREAD RAINS HAVE FALLEN ACROSS THE  
REGION...ALLEVIATING THE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS FROM DRY  
FUELS AND LOW HUMIDITIES.  
 
AT THE BROKEN BOW AIRPORT...DAILY PRECIPITATION RECORDS FELL BY  
THE WAYSIDE ON BOTH OCTOBER 8TH AND OCTOBER 9TH. THE COMBINED  
RAINFALL TOTAL FROM OCTOBER 8TH AND 9TH IN BROKEN BOW WAS 1.96 INCHES.  
 
TO PUT THE PROLONGED RAINFALL THE PAST THREE DAYS IN OCTOBER INTO SOME  
PERSPECTIVE...BELOW ARE THE NORMAL OCTOBER PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS FOR
