A cold front brought much colder temperatures to the region Thanksgiving night, changing over the ample rainfall to light to moderate snowfall during the overnight hours.  Anywhere from a light dusting up to around one and a half inches of snow accumlated across the region, making it the area's first snowfall of the 2010-2011 winter season.

Also, the morning visible satellite image from Friday morning indicated where the band of heaviest snow fell, a fairly narrow stripe from the Land Between the Lakes in southwest Kentucky to around Wilmington, Ohio.
