ASSOCIATED WITH A CLUSTER OF SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORMS, A SMALL
TORNADO WAS CONFIRMED TO HAVE TOUCHED DOWN IN THE EDWARDSVILLE AREA
OF SOUTHERN INDIANA SUNDAY AFTERNOON (MAY 30 2004).

* MAX EST WINDS - 70 MPH
* MAX PATH WIDTH - 10 YARDS
* MAX EST PATH LENGTH - 1/8 MILES
* TIME OF OCCURRENCE - 350 PM EDT (MAY 30 2004)
* INJURIES/FATALITIES - NO SERIOUS INJURIES REPORTED, NO FATALITIES

A VERY WEAK TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ON INDIANA HIGHWAY 62 APPROXIMATELY
ONE MILE SOUTH OF THE INTERCHANGE WITH INTERSTATE 64. IT UPROOTED
VERY LARGE TREES OVER A PATH OF 1/8 OF A MILE ON THE EAST SIDE OF
HIGHWAY 62...BUT NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE WAS FOUND TO THE ADJACENT
BUILDINGS ALONG THE HIGHWAY.  OWNERS OF A LOCAL BUSINESS WITNESSED
THE TOUCHDOWN OF THE TORNADO FROM THE WEST SIDE OF HIGHWAY 62. NO
INJURIES WERE REPORTED.
