Winter Weather Awareness Week, November 15 - 21, 2009

 

Governors Steve Beshear of Kentucky and Mitch Daniels of Indiana have proclaimed November 15 - 21, 2009, as Winter Weather Preparedness Week. 

The key to making it through the winter season is to be prepared before harsh conditions descend upon us.   This week National Weather Service (NWS) offices throughout Indiana and Kentucky will have vital winter weather information posted in the "Top News" section of their websites.  This web page will also serve as an excellent source for answers to your questions about what to do when the snow flies and the mercury plummets.
