Just before 2am on April 20th, 2011, a tornado dropped down just outside of Georgetown, KY:
Event: EF1 tornado
Begin time: 1:54am EDT
End time: 1:54am EDT
Begin point: 6.5 miles northeast of Georgetown
End point: 7 miles northeast of Georgetown
Wind speed: up to 95 mph
Path length: 0.5 mile
Path width: 50 yards
The tornado overturned a tied-down trailer. Also, several outbuildings were damaged or destroyed. A garage wall of a well-built home was buckled.
