This tornado was the southern-most one found from the April 19th-20th, 2011 severe weather event in the NWS Louisville's County Warning Area (CWA):

Begin time: 1:30am CDT
End time: 1:33am CDT
Begin point: 3.5 miles west of Franklin
End point: 1.1 miles north of Franklin
Wind speed: up to 95 mph
Path length: 3.3 miles
Path width: 100 yards
When the tornado touched down, it destroyed a barn and threw debris about a quarter mile. The tornado then damaged the roof of another barn and uprooted or snapped at least a hundred trees. The tornado lifted near the intersection of US 31W and Ogles Street.

Begin time: 1:15am EDT
End time: 1:30am EDT
Straight line winds up to 100 mph damaged four barns, destroyed one barn, and blew down numerous trees acorss Simpson and Logan Counties. The most concentrated area of damage was along routes 663, 664, and 665 in eastern Logan County and western Simpson County.
