On April 23, 2011 a very small tornado briefly touched down in Harrison County, KY as a squall line swept through the region.

Two dozen large trees were uprooted or snapped. Two large barns had pieces of tin roofing ripped off and thrown. A small garage was completely destroyed with only minor damage to its contents. Pieces of oak fencing were tossed around and two small outbuildings were damaged.
|A strong squall line developed near the Ohio River ahead of a cold front during the pre-dawn hours of April 23 and rushed eastward through central and eastern Kentucky. As the line crossed Harrison County it spun up a quick tornado just west of Cynthiana.|
