DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A TIGHT CIRCULATION BETWEEN 1119 PM EDT AND
1124 PM EDT JUST NORTH OF SHEPHERDSVILLE AND EAST OF INTERSTATE 65.
THIS CIRCULATION WAS EMBEDDED WITHIN A BROAD GUST FRONT.

A DAMAGE SURVEY INDICATED THAT THE FIRST OF TWO TORNADO TOUCHDOWNS
BEGAN JUST EAST OF INTERSTATE 65 SOUTH AND WEST OF MEADOWBROOK DR.
DAMAGE WAS CONFINED TO A 100 YARD TRACK THAT CONTINUED NORTHEAST
OVER THE INTERSECTION OF MEADOWBROOK AND CLEARBROOK DRIVE. AFTER
PASSING ACROSS AN OPEN FIELD...THIS DAMAGE PATH ENDED AT THE
INTERSECTION OF HILLBROOK DR AND NORTH PRESTON HIGHWAY. NUMEROUS
TREES WERE DOWNED OR SNAPPED OFF AT THE LOWER TRUNK. ONE DETACHED
STORAGE SHED HAD HALF OF A TIN ROOF BLOWN AWAY...WITH SOME PIECES
FOUND SEVERAL HUNDRED YARDS TO THE NORTHEAST. ANOTHER HOUSE HAD A
POORLY BUILT SHED DESTROYED. TREES WERE DOWNED FACING NORTH OR
NORTHEAST...THOUGH TREES HAD FALLEN IN A SOUTHEAST DIRECTION IN ONE
FIELD ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF THE CIRCULATION.

ENDING POINT AND TIME: 1121 PM EDT AT THE INTERSECTION OF
PRESTON HIGHWAY AND HILLBROOK DR.

A SECOND TORNADO TOUCHDOWN BEGAN ONE AND A HALF MILES TO THE
NORTHEAST OF THE FIRST TRACK. DAMAGE BEGAN JUST SOUTH OF BELLS MILL
ROAD 200 YARDS WEST OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH HILL CREEK ROAD. ITS
DAMAGE PATH TRACKED NORTHEAST ACROSS HILL CREEK ROAD. THE MOST
SEVERE DAMAGE WAS CONCENTRATED TO TWO HOUSES. BOTH HAD SMALL
SECTIONS OF ROOF AND CHIMNEY DAMAGE. ONE HOUSE HAD VERTICAL COLUMNS
SUPPORTING A FRONT OVERHANG KNOCKED DOWN. OTHER DAMAGE INCLUDED
SHINGLES REMOVED AND A GUTTER STRIP REMOVED AND WRAPPED AROUND THE
CHIMNEY. EF-1 DAMAGE OCCURRED TO A DETACHED CINDERBLOCK TWO CAR
GARAGE. THE ROOF WAS REMOVED FROM THIS GARAGE AND BLOWN SEVERAL
HUNDRED FEET AWAY. THREE WALLS WERE COLLAPSED.

ENDING POINT AND TIME: 1126 PM IN OPEN FIELD EAST OF HILLCREEK
ROAD.
