January 26, 2011 Snowfall
A potent upper-level disturbance traversed the lower Ohio Valley on Wednesday, January 26th, 2011. This system brought first light rain to the region, and then all snowfall during the early morning hours. The heaviest snow fell across portions of south-central and west-central Kentucky along and west of I-65, as well as across southwest Indiana, where up to 5 inches of snow was reported in several areas.
