Wall cloud This is an excellent picture of a wall cloud, taken five miles west of Hanover, Indiana on June 12.  The storm was rotating but didn't produce a tornado.  Many storms rotate, and it is a meteorologist's challenge to decide which rotating storms will produce a tornado, and which will not.  Grady Joslin
