A SMALL TORNADO WAS CONFIRMED TO TOUCH DOWN IN THE GLENMARY
SUBDIVISION IN SOUTHEAST JEFFERSON COUNTY SUNDAY AFTERNOON (MAY 30
2004).

* MAX EST WINDS - 70 MPH
* MAX PATH WIDTH - 30 YARDS
* MAX EST PATH LENGTH - 1/4 MILES
* TIME OF OCCURRENCE - 528 PM EDT (MAY 30 2004)
* INJURIES/FATALITIES - NO SERIOUS INJURIES REPORTED, NO FATALITIES

A WEAK TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN JUST EAST OF BARDSTOWN ROAD NEAR THE
ENTRANCE TO THE GLENMARY SUBDIVISION ON GLENMARY FARM ROAD.
SIGNIFICANT LARGE TREE DAMAGE OCCURRED. MINOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE
OCCURRED TO ROOFS BUT MOST WAS DUE TO FALLING TREES. A PUBLIC VIDEO
FROM JUST WEST OF BARDSTOWN ROAD SHOWED THE BRIEF TORNADO TOUCHDOWN.
THE TORNADO LIFTED EAST OF THE SUBDIVISION AND A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS
REPORTED NEAR THE GENE SNYDER EXPRESSWAY AND BILLTOWN ROAD. NO
INJURIES WERE REPORTED.
