Hallway

Move students quickly into interior windowless rooms or hallways on the lowest floor. Have students take the tornado protection position by dropping to their knees, leaning forward, and covering their heads with arms and hands. Make special provisions for disabled students and those in portable classrooms. School hallway. Halls which have interior walls, no glass, and few objects along the walls are preferred for shelter.
