 Air Quality Index (AQI, AEUS73 KLMK)


The Jefferson County Air Pollution Control District monitors air quality at various locations around Jefferson County, Kentucky.  Four times each day, the Air Quality Index is issued by NWS Louisville which includes the current air quality, the elevated pollutant, the current pollution category, and a short-term, three-hour forecast for the pollution index.  In the case of dangerous pollutants, health advisories or alerts would be included at the end of the product.
