 Area Weather Summary (RWS, AWUS83 KLMK)


This is a routine product that is issued once daily around 4:00 a.m.  It provides a brief weather summary, in narrative form, for weather events only within the NWS Louisville County Warning Area.  Recent, past weather (up to 24 hours prior), current present weather, and forecast conditions (up to 24 hours in the future) will be provided in the product.

Record or near-record temperatures and/or precipitation amounts will often be mentioned. The synoptic features causing the weather may also be mentioned in simple, non-technical terms.

CLEAR SKIES WERE OBSERVED ACROSS CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND SOUTH
CENTRAL INDIANA OVERNIGHT WITH AREAS OF PATCHY FOG. TEMPERATURES
AT 4 AM EDT WERE IN THE MIDDLE 50S TO AROUND 60.

SUNNY SKIES WILL AGAIN BE FOUND ACROSS THE AREA TODAY AS HIGH 
PRESSURE SETTLES ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY. WARMER AIR WILL BE IN
PLACE WITH MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES RISING INTO THE LOW TO MIDDLE
80S. LOWS TONIGHT WILL AGAIN COOL TO THE UPPER 50S.

AS THE HIGH SHIFTS TO THE EAST THROUGH MID WEEK...A SOUTHERLY
FLOW WILL ALLOW WARM AIR TO REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE REGION.
