CHICAGO AND ROCKFORD...

AT CHICAGO...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 50.8 DEGREES WHICH IS
3.7 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 32.2
DEGREES WHICH IS 0.6 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE MONTH WAS 41.5 DEGREES WHICH IS 2.2 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.
2.51 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION WAS RECORDED WHICH IS 0.50 INCHES BELOW
NORMAL. A TRACE OF SNOW WAS RECORDED WHICH IS 1.8 INCHES BELOW
NORMAL.

A RECORD DAILY MAXIMUM RAINFALL WAS SET ON NOVEMBER 22 WHEN 1.37
INCHES FELL.  THE PREVIOUS RECORD HAD BEEN 1.15 INCHES SET IN 1909.

AT ROCKFORD...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 51.4 DEGREES WHICH
IS 5.9 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 31.8
DEGREES WHICH IS 2.8 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE MONTH WAS 41.6 DEGREES WHICH IS 4.4 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.
1.33 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION WAS RECORDED WHICH IS 1.30 INCHES BELOW
NORMAL. A TRACE OF SNOW WAS RECORDED WHICH IS 2.6 INCHES BELOW
NORMAL.

A RECORD DAILY MAXIMUM SNOWFALL WAS TIED ON NOVEMBER 4 WHEN A TRACE
OF SNOW FALL. THIS TIED THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF A TRACE SET IN 1995.
A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS SET ON NOVEMBER 10 WHEN THE
TEMPERATURE REACHED 70 DEGREES. THE PREVIOUS RECORD HAD BEEN 69
DEGREES SET IN 1930. A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS SET ON NOVEMBER
22 WHEN THE TEMPERATURE REACHED 69 DEGREES. THE PREVIOUS RECORD HAD
BEEN 67 DEGREES SET IN 1913.
