Frequency distribution of high temperatures for Rockford. This dataset shows that the most frequent range of high temperatures on Halloween is in between 50 to 59 degree range, with a close 2nd being the 40-49 degree range. The normal high for Halloween is 56 degrees, which falls in the range of the most frequent highs. The record high is 84 degrees which was set in 1950. This is one of three times that the high temperature reached the 80s on Halloween in Rockford’s history. The coldest high temperature on Halloween is 32 degrees which occurred in 1917. In 2011, the high temperature on Halloween was 51 degrees.

The normal low for Halloween is 37 degrees, which falls in the range of the second most frequent lows. The record low is 14 degrees which occurred in 1925. The highest low temperature for Halloween was 62 degrees in 1974. In 2011, the low temperature on Halloween was 28.
