Storm Data for the Chicago Forecast Office County Warning Area
Storm Data and Unusual Weather Phenomena contains a chronological listing of tornadoes, thunderstorms, hail, floods, drought conditions, lightning, high winds, snow, temperature extremes and other weather phenomena. The reports are provided by the National Weather Service and contain statistics on personal injuries and damage estimates. STORM DATA is a publication of the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC).

IMPORTANT: These reports are preliminary, unofficial, and uncertified. The storm data listed here are monthly summaries of all preliminary storm reports in the NWS Chicago county warning area for the last 5 years. If you require data that is beyond that period, please contact the National Climatic Data Center.
Months that are shaded in red below indicate that Storm Data is not available for that time period yet.
NOTE: There is an approximate 3 month delay for the Storm Data Summaries to be posted. For example, the July Storm Data Summary does not get published until around October 1st.
