Storm Total Snowfall:
St. Louis - Lambert International Airport observed 10.0 inches of snowfall on March 4th, 2008. This is a new daily snowfall record for March 4th, surpassing the old record of 3.7 inches set in 1965. Of the 10.0 inches of snow that fell, 4.7 inches occurred in just two hours. The storm total ties for the third heaviest March snowfall in St. Louis history.
