Bow Echo Severe Wind Event
Eastern Missouri - Southwest Illinois
August 5th, 2010

An early morning severe thunderstorm complex produced damaging winds across parts of Jefferson, Ste. Genevieve, and St. Francois counties in Missouri and Monroe and Randolph Counties in Illinois.  The bow echo brought down trees, power poles, and tree limbs along its path and damaged tents and camper trailer near Sparta, Illinois.  The person that was in the camper trailer suffered a broken arm when the trailer was tossed on its side.
